Where It All Began
My journey with a camera started in 2013.
I was in Year 9 and was asked to dress up and perform for a school cultural day. It was a simple moment — but the way it was documented changed everything. A friend’s father, a cinematographer, captured the day with a level of care I had never seen before.
When I saw those images, something clicked.
Not just an interest — an awareness.
From that point on, I started documenting everything I could. At first, it was on my phone — landscapes, people, street scenes. Then in 2015, I picked up my first DSLR and began shooting events and working with models.
Since then, the camera has never really left my hand.
Weddings, to me, are something entirely different.
They’re not timelines or checklists.
They’re a gathering of people, emotion, and meaning — all unfolding in real time.
The moments that matter most aren’t staged. They’re felt.
And once they pass, they don’t come back.
When close friends trusted me to capture their wedding, I saw firsthand the impact of doing this well — not just for them, but for everyone around them. The way people relived the day. The way it brought everything back.
That experience is what led me here.
We’re a small, intentional team based in Townsville, capturing weddings across North and Far North Queensland.
Our approach is calm, observant, and unobtrusive.
We don’t over-direct or manufacture moments. Instead, we create space for them to happen naturally — stepping in only when needed to guide, support, and keep things effortless.
You won’t be asked to perform.
You won’t be left wondering what to do either.
You’ll feel comfortable, present, and fully in the moment — exactly as you should be.
When the day is over, what remains matters.
Not just how it looked —
But how it felt to be there.
And that’s what we’re here to preserve.
